A focused, two-day certification for providers who want to add laser hair removal, tattoo removal, and body sculpting to their practice. Train hands-on with Michigan-licensed nurse instructors.
Medical license required for the hands-on clinical portion. Theory-only track available for non-licensed students.
Compare every program →B.A.L.A.'s Laser Certification Only program is a two-day, hands-on course covering hair removal, tattoo removal, and body-sculpting platforms. You learn the laser physics, treatment settings, and safety fundamentals that let you operate with confidence in a working medspa.
Day one covers tissue interaction, the Fitzpatrick scale, device-specific parameter selection, and supervised live-patient practice. Day two focuses on patient selection, parameter adjustment, complication recognition, post-treatment care, and documentation, with instructor feedback on every treatment.
A valid medical license is required for the hands-on clinical portion. The course runs in two sessions: Thursday 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM and Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Graduates receive a digital certificate and ANCC contact hours.
